IAASA: Observations on Selected Financial Reporting Issues
The Irish Accounting and Auditing Supervisory Authority (IAASA) has responsibility for monitoring and enforcing compliance with certain aspects of the Transparency (Directive 2004/109/EC) Regulations, 2007 ("the Regulations"). In pursuance of its remit, IAASA selects and reviews half-yearly and annual financial reports of companies covered by the Regulations to assess whether those reports have been prepared in full compliance with the "relevant reporting framework" On 15 January 2010 IAASA published an observation document noting observations on selected reviews performed.
